Uisge Beatha!
or "Water of Life", the Irish word for whiskey.
Happy St. Patty's Day to everyone. On this day I hope everyone finds themselves in a place to drink good beer and whiskey with good friends. I also hope you start early.
On his day I remember three things:
1. When I was in Ireland, having just started dating April and spending a day or two with her, in particular visiting St. Patrick's grave in Downpatrick and seeing all the crazy festivities.
2. Hanging out in a pub in downtown Dublin with Holton, St. Patty's Day hubris approaching a crescendo. Live music, live Guiness, and singing along to songs of which I didn't know a word.
3. How badly I want to visit Ireland again.
Back to work...

Josiah seems to be everywhere on this planet. When some friends and I were studying in Oxford, he was seen emerging from a pub in London when we thought he was still back at Covenant. He's ubiquitous!

Erin go Bragh!
I agree with Holton.
Got to go to a little Celtic pub in Asheville with a friend from Ridge Haven though and he showed me another meaning for "Irish Car Bomb"--I heartily approve
p.s. while this might sound sacrilegious, for someone who knows what it is to drink a Dublin Guinness, check out Highland Brewery's Oatmeal Porter--it's actually pretty close (unless you have to be in Asheville to get the right flavor...)

Josiah is ubiquitous... I'm pretty sure I passed him near High Street yesterday around lunchtime.
