Introducing The Coolest Reformed/Presbyterian Denominational Website
Whoda thunk the RCUS could pull it off?
A few pages are still funky, particularly in the congregational section, but for the most part its good to go. Maybe a bit more content/imagery on the mainpage. The central conceit was given how "Word-centric" the denomination is, we'd make the site the same way. Amazing how much fun you can have with font. Kudos the Cooley the elder on his work.
Now if we could just get the PCA & the OPC to let us do up their sites right.

Amen and amen to your closing remark. byFaith Online isn't bad, but both denominational sites could use more than a little freshen-up.

Awesome job, Jake. But, at the risk of sounding stupid, I must admit that I really can't tell what the picture on the home page is supposed to be. Maybe it's my computer.

Follow up question. Why asp?

ditto on what he said. why oh why?

Because it performs better with SQL Server and IIS than PHP and doesn't have the out-of-process problems of CGI?
Unless you meant "Why ASP as opposed to ASP.NET?" in which case you might be on to something.
Pretty much every programming language has its situation or environment where it's the best solution.
