Can Anybody Recommend A Good Dentist?
I desperately need to get to a dentist. Walgreens is running out of ibuprofen I'm poppin' so much just to stay functional. I got a huge list of Blue Cross & Blue Shield approved dentists in the area, but I have no idea which one I should go to. I really hate the whole dentist thing, paying some guy to stick his hands in your mouth while listening to really bad music. The whole thing screams nightmare.
I also know I'm probably gonna need a root canal or three. Joy. They'd better deliver with the painkillers though. I look forward to regaining the ability to chew on my right side.
It's also valentines day. I really don't like this holiday. The pressure. April and I are going to Sweet Basil tonight for dinner. After than I think we're seeing some romantic comedy. I owe her after she had to watch both Million Dollar Baby & Shawshank Redemption in the same weekend. Good movies both, but put her in a real funk. The one-two funk punch. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't have a good dentist. Someone suggested Dr. Cofer in Hixson to me a while back, and I went to him a few times and was not impressed! His dentist hygenists wreaked havoc on my gums and I had never stayed so sore for so long from the dentist.
My boss did recommend someone to me a while back, and she said he was excellent and the hygenists there were very gentle. I'll try to get the name again, but I'm sure someone else will chime in before I can.
Good luck.

Dr McPherson is AWESOME. He reffered me to some guy that did my root canal and I didnt even feel a thing. He was fast (45min) professional, and gentle. I highly reccomend him. He shares the same building with Dr John Burg. I've been going there since I was a wee lad.

I go to Dr. Robert Wooten in Hixson. He's done two root canals and one crown for me. His staff is great, too.

josiah, you could do what I do----
celebrate presidents day instead!
it's way better, PLUS you get a three day weekend automatically. it's the way to go.
however, sweet basil is a gem amongst otherwise dull car parts warehouses...

Dr. Mike Revenig. He's in Brainerd, his prices are reasonable, he's honest, fair, and he goes out of his way to cope with all my neurotic problems with being at the dentist. It never hurts.
