Obligatory Rose Bowl Post

I'm still in my post Rose Bowl funk. I think it made me sick in fact. Odd though, it was one of the best football games I've ever watched; entertaining in every way, except, you know, for getting the W in the end.

I mean, Michigan threw everything they had at Texas. 37 points, 3 TD's from Edwards, 100+ yards of post-contact rushing from Hart, and 315 total yards from Breaston and still Texas and that freak of nature Vince Young managed to pull out the last second FG win.

Well, if you're gonna loose, you might as well loose with style.

What it does it make me look forward to next year. Michigan is loosing two huge guys in Edwards and cornerback Marlin Jackson. But if you doubt the depth in Michigan's receiving corp I suggest you again look at Breaston and Avant and TE Massaquoi. Don't forget that RB Hart and QB Henne are freshman, and ridiculously good freshman.

Next year could be a huge year for Michigan. We've got Ohio State and Notre Dame at home. I can't wait.

Boy, I love Bowl week. Now the NHL-less doldrums until Baseball starts. Oh, there's that thing called March Madness too.

That was one of the best games I've seen in a long while. I watched it with my dad and we were both simply in awe of Vince Young. I'm still not sure I believe what I saw.

The Iowa-LSU game was pretty darn good as well. The last 5 minutes were insane.

You catch the sugar bowl last night? I thought VT was about to make a comback! I hate that AU got screwed out of the championship. Someone needs to seriously check into that BCS crap! I rather see play-offs not polls and opinions to find out who the best is. Tonights game with USC and OU should be incredible.

phones were ringing off the hook in belz family quarters around the country for the iowa game. what a shocking finish - it warranted a sprint around the house. we always go for big 10 teams, too, so we were sad about michigan. but better watch out for those hawkeyes next year, too.
