Ricky Williams Lives in My Hometown
So 10 minutes ago I turn on Sportscenter, to suddenly see them talking about Ricky Williams and... Nevada City & Grass Valley?!?
Before I came to Covenant I lived in Grass Valley (Nevada City is right next door), which is up in the mountains in California, about an hour from Lake Tahoe.
What's even funnier is that Williams is attending the College of Ayurveda which is a perfect example of the lifestyle/beliefs/faith/interests smorgasborg in the area.
Williams is also reportedly still smoking pot. He probably would have a hard time finding a better place for it. Its name is "Grass Valley" after all (this joke got real old when I still lived there).
Who knows, maybe I'll get my Dad to swing by the College (which is a couple blocks from his church) and get his autograph.
Anyways, it was a weird morning, see my hometown on TV and all.

Ricky Williams just moved into nevada city and i live in grass vallley. I think the only reason he moved here is to smoke weed(canabus). I think that is cool and i want to smoke with him.
