happy enough to refer to himself in the third person, that's for sure.
one secondary reason I'm glad the Sox won is that I can return to divesting my emotions in the Tigers, my #1 team. Last year was horrible, this year was better. Build build build build. Need more pitching! but who doesn't? Oh, that's right, THE RED SOX don't.

congrats. my beloved cardinals have lost. and i had ordained them to beat the pants off of the red sox. they didn't even touch the socks.
i still think the cardinals were the better team, although that means beans in the postseason. if you can't win, or even compete, you're not really showing that you're better.
and i'm glad that i can love them unconditionally, unlike, oh, say, a phillies fan? i love them for the memories they granted me at numerous games this summer, esp. a certain nailbiter against the cubbies on a sunny st. louis day in a packed stadium. those were the true 2004 cardinals.
like we say, always next year. and you can definitely apply that pitching thing to the redbirds. they need it bad.
