Oh Powerbook, My Dear Friend
My powerbook arrived this morning, roughly 16 hours after I placed the order. I'm chillin' here, at my desk, writing this blog post on said powerbook.
Its a work of art. The entire experience, from its arrival to the soothing glow of the mac logo appearing on screen the first time I hit the power button: this has been an experience. The packaging is stunning. The ease of getting on the wireless network, glorious. I haven't even touched the bluetooth keyboard and mouse yet, but I will. I even got two exceptionally cool Appler stickers. Have I mentioned that overwhelming "coolness" factor of the entire thing? I'm bathing in coolness. Steve Jobs, will you go out with me?
I'll try to get some pictures up for you soon. Now I just have to figure out how I want to setup my desktop. The powerbook comes we equiped with a mini-dvi to vga plug, so I can dual monitor this action, which I will with my 21". I think I'll just let my old desktop run and I'll TS into it for whatever I want.

ah it always nice to see when a man and his mac fall in love, personally I'm still a PC man though.

I'm also a PC man even though I hate MS Win. Can you believe I must work with that crap for the whole time at work?

congrats on the powerbook; I also got the 12 inch model, but without the superdrive and 512MB ram. yesterday i downloaded x11 and openoffice for mac, so i don't have to buy MS office to be able to deal with those kindof files.
art form of power

I'm looking into getting a 15" powerbook with the superdrive and the 128bit video card and maxed out RAM. But, It's far too costly at the moment. Soon...soon...patience...and I will take over the world with my powerbook, though I'm still a PC man as well.
