Dear Nick, My Taste in Music is Awesome

Nick is very tall. He also lives in Texas; I wonder if he's ever caught a big fish?

I suppose I should give a defense of my frequent listening to Enya. I should note that I have over 5K in songs in my music library, not as big as some, but rather large. For whatever reason, over the years I've managed to get roughly 125 Enya songs on my computer. I think this is 'cause once I had qued up her entire collection on Kazaa. So roughly, one out of every 50 songs I listen to will be an Enya riff, if iTunes is truly doing the whole "random" thing. Anyways, Enya is some bizarrely soothing stuff to listen to at work when I'm getting all stressed out yelling at Lang.

Also, I'd like to give a quick run-down of my recent purchases on iTunes as a brief taste of my musical awesomeness:

"Jesus Walks" by Kanye West
"Blacking Out The Friction" by Death Cab for Cutie
"Gravity Rides Everything" by Modest Mouse
Senator Barack Obama's DNC Speech
"Slow" by Kylie Minogue
"Junior Kickstart" by The Go! Team
"The Power is On" by The Go! Team
"She Will Only Bring You Happiness" by McClusky
"Combat Baby" by Metric
"New Slang" by The Shins
"Run" by Snow Patrol
and a live acoustic version of "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips, just to annoy Andy

Wow, a post dedicated to me!
This all serves as a reminder that I desperately need an iPod.
And no, I have never caught a fish that big. I am quite possibly the worst fisherman ever.

The most recent Death Cab album (Transatlanticism...or something like that) is very good. Its surprisingly catchy.

And yes, iPods are very necessary. I have officially become addicted to mine.

I second the thoughts on that Death Cab album. Another good one is that Ted Leo album, Hearts of Oak.
For some sad bastard music, go to Velvet Blue Music (velvetbluemusic.com) and check out the band LN. Great stuff.
