Hey, Nostradamus
Couple more things:
1. the petition to save WUTC is now over 500 signatures, thanks to everyone who has shown their support for local programming, free speech, and anti-easy listening jazz.
2. I've been reading the most recent Douglas Coupland book, "Hey, Nostradamus" and its very very good. Coupland was the guy who coined the phrases "Generation X" and "Life After God". So far "Hey, Nostradamus" gets my two thumbs up, though its pretty rough on you emotionally, as Coupland tends to be.

Actually, there was a punk band in the 70's called Generation X. Billy Idol was the lead singer.

And the band Generation X actually took their name from an earlier paperback novel titled Generation X which they found in Idol'd mother's bookcase.
