A Multiple of Five

Today is my 25th birthday. I can now rent a car, and supposedly, my car insurance will go down. This is good, because I've been driving like a grandmother for the last two years in preparation.

Have no big plans for tonight. I tried to get everyone at the office to declare today "Tequila Day" in my honor, but me and Jeff were the only ones willing to Salt-Tequila-Lime it at 8:45 in the morning. Besides, productivity will hit a real downward spiral with everyone sitting on half a fifth of the heart of the agave in their stomachs. Onwards...

For my "birthday" if you will, I'm ordering a new computer. I'm sorta torn: I can't decide between a 17" G4 powerbook with the 23" HD Flatscreen display or a dual monitor P4 3.4 w/ HT etc. etc. With the former it means the end of gaming for Josiah, with the latter it means pure aesthetic bliss...decisions decisions.

And finally: the Wilco show in Pittsburgh was incredible. Totally blew apart all my expectations.

Happy Birthday! Instead of singing Happy Birthday I would like to propose a song brought on by the notion of Tequila Day.
1 tequila, 2 tequila, 3 tequila, floor...

Except you...

I'm en route to the kitchen to do a shot in your honor old man. Twenty-five years of age. I think it's safe to use that birthday to declare that the first third of your life is over. You are now entering that weird place of "the second third." I haven't quite figured out all the rules of the second third myself.

I say go for the mac, the path less trodden if you will. Plus mac's have better sex appeal. And gaming on a lap top is lame in my opinion. And they do have call of duty for the mac laptop which is really all you need, that and civ 3 which they also have. MAC IT MAC IT GOOD! Live my dream of having a mac, because as we all know, i won't. HAPPY 25 man! I miss you already... not sure why, but some day i'll figure it out.
