New Headphones

My old faithpull pair of Koss headphones of 4 years started to go on the fritz and after dissasembling the earphone/pieces/headset I wasn't able to repair them. So today Me, Beck, and Andy cruised over to Best Buy for lunch and picked myself up a new pair. I was rather dissapointed with their selection though. I wanted a good mid-range headphone for tween $50-$100 and there was nothing in that range other than overrated Sony "Pay For The Name Brand" noise-cancelling headsets with crappy frequency range.
So I picked up these full-size aiwa's with the biggest spectrum and amperage there, and thus far, after rocking out to some Velvet Underground and some low & high pushing techno I'm really really enjoying my new set. I think they're an incredible value. So if you're looking for a budget headset with great quality, these Aiwa HP-X223 get my two thumbs up.
They also have a GREAT mute button on the headset for those moments when Lang comes in to hit you with some great grand theory 'bout how we can revolutionize the way e-mail works by integrated pgp keys into headers signatures....I'm usually lost at that point...regardless, the mute button is a real "cherry on top." Wow, twice in one day.
