Run To The Hills

Well, Beck is getting settled in here at work. He sits right across from me. We're developing a little game that we dubbed the "iTunes Duel." One person plays one song, another person plays another song, and so on and so on. Haven't really figured out the rules or victory conditions, but it's cool.

In other far more significant news, I'm now an uncle. Jacob Edward Roe is his name, and he was born yesterday. Mother and child are well.

Saw Fog of War yesterday, the documentary by Errol Morris on Robert McNamara. It was incredible. It was like watching living history. The filming was tops, the soundtrack by Phillip Glass gripping, and McNamara was captivating, narrating the last 85 years of American history through his life experience with aplomb. Anyways, it gets the Josiah 2 thumbs up.

And finally, it the oddly amusing category, a Merriville, Indiana high school has banned pink clothing, supposedly because the colors have become associated with gang activity.

My question is, what the heck kindof gang activity? Are like, the highschool Mary Kay sales ladies startin' their own mafia and having the Avon sales ladies wacked? But whatever...

Maybe one of the Merriville has mistaken the movie "Grease" for a documentary.

"Those pesky Pink Ladies with their 50's clothes and pink jackets, they're the scurge of humanity. We gotta ban pink clothes....right after this song"
