*yawn*
not much to report here. Scored a new flat screen TV over the weekend. Which is good, 'cause the Holtonians' TV just died and they're gonna want their old one back.
2nite for BS hour we're gonna be doing dinner with Monty's parents.
April had been gettin' depressed because the horse she was leasing to do dressage was sub-par. We prayed about it a bit and well, she managed to find through good old southern networking a top level quarterhorse to work with that isn't costing much more than the other. I really don't understand much about it all. I just figured out what a horse being "16 hands" meant. Bizarre.
I wanna come right out and say that the Times Free Press is a joke of a newspaper. Is it a bizarre coincidence that the executive editor runs a story about a day in the life of Mayor Corker, on the front page center and said executive editor, when Mayor Corker heads off to a run for higher office, will be leaving as his campaign manager? Can you say conflict of interests?
It wouldn't bother me so much if the paper was better. But its not, and its not the fault (in my opinion) of the writers and journalists. It's the fault of the editors micro-managing the newspaper and not trusting their writers.
So, here's to a great Mayor heading on to bigger and better things and taking his buddy at the TFP with him.

Pieces of crap like you should be eaten for breakfast and expelled violently down into the septic.

Also, your frequent, insipid, and uncalled-for comments on masturbation reveal the horrible human being in you.

You're completeley right. The writers are being micro-managed beyond belief.
The TFP is what happens when you have one "big" paper in town. They're very bias because they know they're the only game. More people locally are looking at TV news, their numbers keep dropping, so eventually something will have to be done. But they're still telling people they're the #1 source for news, when in fact they're about #3 or 4.

Pieces of crap should be eaten for breakfast, Mod?

Mesh, if I had a question for Mod Imposter, it would be, "So what you're saying is that Josiah isn't a horrible human being, but that he has a horrible human being inside of him — like a parasite or something?" But I do not have any questions for Mod.
FORTUNE COOKIE SAY: Pieces of toast should be eaten for breakfast or thrown gleefully into the air.
