Some Questions:
There's some things I'd like to know.
"When the moon is in the seventh house, and Jupiter lines with Mars. Then peace will guide the planets and love will steer the stars."
Look, I'm willing to buy this if you can explain to me where this seventh house is and from what perspective does it mean for Jupiter to line with Mars. I mean, if you're talking about Jupiter & Mars lining up from the perspective of an earthling, then I think its pretty presumptive to think that everyone else will have peace on the other planets. Can U say megalomania? That's just no way to think about doing your inter-planetary foreign policy.
On the other hand, the second half of the song, "Let the Sunshine In" is one kicking groove.
Further, somebody explain to me Neil Diamond. "Hand touching hands. Reaching out. Touching Me. Touching You. Sweet Caroline." This guy is creepy. Of course, he did write "Solitary Man" if I remember correctly. That's gotta count for something, if only because Johnny Cash covered it and made it great.
Of course, I find myself in the SNL school of Neil Diamondosophy in thinking that his song "America" is about his intense hatred of immigrants.
"On the boats and on the planes
They're coming to America
Never looking back again
They're coming to America"

The best "Sweet Caroline" line is, of course, "Warm (pause) touching warm."

Jupiter is the king, and Mars is the warlord, so when they align, a warrior king will conquer the earth and bring peace under his rule. Just make sure not to moon him in any of his houses.

Now would be a good time to remember what Neil himself said about "Sweet Caroline":
"It was late at night and my band and I were barrelling down a dark country road, drunk as skunks, when suddenly a young girl ran out into the road in front of us. We couldn't stop and we hit her. I jumped out of the van and held her in my arms as she died. Two hours later, we had this song."

Good times never been so good, eh Neil?
The song was called "Sweet Adeline" at Waffle House karaoke last Monday. Were they just wrong or what?
