Freedom Tower
Forgive me, if you will, for not being cynical about it all. I really like/am moved by the new Towers/Complex that's been planned for the WTC location. The NYTimes has an article about it here. Make sure to check out the slideshow. I also like that's it's called Freedom Tower, right across the bay from Lady Liberty. I know, perhaps I don't deserve to "value" those things 'cause a. I've always had them and b. I've never had to fight/potentially die for them, but I still do and still get kinda moved & proud etc. It is my tragic flaw after all: civic pride.
