I Hate The Yankees
Ya, I woke up not feeling too bad, just a mild headache. But somehow in the last hour & a half I've started feeling brutally sick.
Now mind you, I have an incredible tolerance for the fruit of the vine/wheat/hops/etc. But if I do more than 2 drinks, I have a significantly high chance of getting hangover which increases exponentially with each consecutive drink. I think this is largely because I keep myself so dang dehydrated. I heard once that dying of thirst was like having the worst hangover ever.
But all that to say, despite my subdued imbibing last night, I'm feeling it today. I'm headin' to bed to catch a nap. I'll just work late today and/or get the work done that I miss today sometime tomorrow.
And I hate the Yankees. They're everything that is evil in this country. The Sox, the Light.

Josiah, this doesn't specifically have anything to do with your post, but re our conversation last night about NSA blogs, I checked it out this morning.
This is not a joke: it made my skin crawl.
I can't imagine what would make them say those things. Or maybe I recognize similar content in myself, and that's why it's so painful.
Either way, Father please deliver us.

You're right on about dehydration. Drink water in between beers (or whatever you're drinking). Then chug down a few glasses before sleep for good measure. With proper hydration, you can drink quite a bit more and not be hung over.
