Taken Sick
I haven't blogged much this week, and that's largely 'cause I've been sick and have been largely offline, or at least lacking the necessary hutzpah to up and get my blog & e-mail on. So I apologize to everyone I've neglected. I'm still feeling like crap, but hopefully I'll be better tomorrow. I've gotten behind in work for my boss, and that always makes me feel weird.
Anyways. This morning April & I went to this cool kayak demo day with Pastor Bob, his wife Karen, and son Ethan. They had free grub, and most importantly free diet coke. It was April's first time in a kayak, and she had a great time, so great in fact she's suggested she's gonna change my Christmas present from a laptop to a kayak. Ya, we're gonna hafta talk about that.
Saw the Sophia Coppola flick "Lost in Translation" last night with Mesh, B-horner, and his sister Emily. It was an absolutely incredible movie. Sophia Coppola is a gifted and nuanced director, heck, its in her blood, but she's a also a very very different filmaker than her father. Anyways, it's also a very...painful film. For such a subtle, delicate and gentle film, I sure hurt at the end of it. Anyways, it's a must-see, and in my top five thus far for the year.
Well, I'm gonna burn up the next hour playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on Andy's laptop. Then it's the Michigan/Iowa game at 3:30. Tonight April & I are hanging out with Nudge & Capria. Gonna get our Settlers on.

it's a cool board game all about developing land, stewarding resources, and crushing your opponents.
