But I gotta give props to Michigan who whooped up on Notre Dame last saturday, 38 to 0. Chris Perry, the Michigan Heisman-bound runningback pulled off 4 touchdowns, including a glorious Lynn Swann esque one handed catch. The Gold and Blue are going all the way to the Sugar Bowl this year. This weekends game is against Oregon. Hopefully I can get the only two other Michigan loyalists this far South, John Sweet & Brent Jackson to join me for the game.
Georgia also had a great game against the Gamecocks. I've picked UGA to take the SEC, and hopefully play Michigan in the National Championship Game, though it's a longshot unless Miami, Oklahoma, and USC all make major blunders (which I want to happen anyway to cement Michigan's NC bid).
Enough about football. I know this is something that 99% of you are not interested in. Y'all can get back to the Doug Wilson discussion now.
And to help that with a little prod: Isn't it funny how in his books Wilson never cites anyone? It's like, all this cool "wiz-bang" Reformed & Covenantal theology he's discovered is completely original! Unlike his earlier quote: there ARE new things under the sun!

Josiah, your prodding is going to get me in trouble. I had to leave the "interactive gee-whizzery" quote alone in my response so I didn't say something overly sarcastic. Seriously, though, what is so "gee-whiz" about a comments box?
Oh, and give some props to my boys at Auburn for finding their offensive stride Saturday against Vandy. They may not be in the running for the NC but I'm feeling a bit more confident that they'll at least have a winning season. ;)

AH yes, sorry John. I meant to give props to Auburn for finally getting their butts in gear. I'm hoping to see them pull of a solid season even after their disapointing start. But geez, it did take them 10 quarters to get a touchdown. But heck, once they started, it was ALOT of touchdowns.

I'm not familiar with Wilson's work, but I have noticed that both Michael Moore and Al Franken have quite a bit of trouble documenting their sources. Often times, they include loose references, or cite a source that is not documented at all.
In reality, Moore and Franken are using "satire" to hide behind their most extreme views which they cannot support with any evidence (compare them with Ann Coulter. You may not like her any better than blowhards Moore and Franken, but she meticulously documents every piece of evidence that she cites). From what you say, I suspect that Wilson might be up to something similar.

Okay, now that's funny: Doug Wilson has finally been compared to Michael Moore. They'd both be livid.
