Call Me Dignan-bert

The rumors are true. I picked up a part-time job working at Provident. It's just a couple days a week. I'm helping out my buddy Marc who's going through some rough family stuff by covering for him.

It really is all about who you know. I got to be friends with a couple of guys who work there through ChattaLAN, next thing you know I get offered a job. Anyways, it's my first big foray into corporate America. I promise you stories.

Oh, I'm also working one room over from Huffine. It'll be just like old times. Ben spendings hours furiously coding, with me cuttin' up in the next room stoppin in periodically to distract him.

Ugh.
I used to work there. Safely escaped with my dignity.

Went back to interview people there for a smoke break piece for OTOH. Almost got arrested. It was right in the middle of all their national media coverage.

You guys need me to complete the trio. Remember late nights with the rational quizzer or the database project. Just don't let anybody with a name that rhymes with Sinister or rablo into your group.

Ha ha ha. Renk, I laughed out loud when I read your comment. Yes, we do need you to complete the trio. There was nothing like late nights coding and cursing the members of our team that refused to do any work. Those were the days. Keep cranking out the Renkema variables.

I don't think they could pay me enough to try to document your code Renkema, at least not to any standard. Do they have somebody there that does that for you now? I pity da fool! I pity da fool!

Can U believe that certain someone who's name rhyme's with sinister got a ICS degree and I haven't yet?

Posted by: JosiahQ at August 6, 2003 04:41 PM

Sinister didn't get any help from us. Remember how many f's were in his first name? 3 I think it was. Lets see if I can find a Renkema variable in my code...here's one: utfZSpcStr. Have no Idea what it does at that moment, but I know it's important.

Send me the code and give me about 3 hours. I can figure it out.

Can I get a job doing that? Just interpreting Renkema's code?
