Hell's On Deck Circle

I never thought it was possible, or at least I've never experience anything remotely near it before, but last night was actually so dang hot and humid I could barely sleep.

I'm a cold weather guy. I like mildly rainy weather at about 50-55 degrees. But I can tolerate the South, it's many other charms make up for the heat n' humidity which occasionally tries to suffocate you like a hot towel...

but last night was over the line. We had like three fans blowing on us, and it wasn't until we got the third fan going that we were able to actually fall asleep. No, our house doesn't have air conditioning, but we figured we wouldn't need it since we've both done summers down here before.

Oh no. I swear. It was so hot Satan must have been the previous tenant of this place, using it as some special daemon training ground or something, or maybe it was the hell overflow building or something.

Aiight. It think I found the look I'm going with, at least for awhile. I am gonna try to fit that weird smiley face in the top right as some kinda logo. I dunno. I just kinda like it...

I know what you're talking about w/ the heat thing dude. For the first month or so of the summer there was no AC in Carter. The bedroom of the apartment Zach and I share (being the RA office in Carter) has no window since the glass was completely boarded over. In addition, since Carter has the wonderful characteristic of being almost impossible to ventilate properly we experienced nightime temperatures approaching the 90s. For two nights in a row I was almost completely unable to sleep, but then the AC was finally fixed and the atmosphere was reduced a saner level.

You had 90 degree temps in your room? That's unholy, unacceptable, that I do not forgive...
