don't care if monday's blue
Tired this morning from the LAN party on Saturday night. I know I'm a geek, I don't care. Until you've partaken in the sheer joy of virtually manning the mini-gun in the side of a Blackhawk helicopter taking a town that's defended by 20 people in the room nex to you, well, you just can't criticize.
Went with April on Sunday to the horse farm she works at. It's in north Georgia, and it's beautiful. It's even got a pond with a 9lb bass in it, or at least, that's what the shirtless old southern man who was fishing there told me. There was this black lab running around the whole time named Max. That dog ruled. I think I want to buy a farm, well, I've always wanted a farm, but I think we'll have a couple horses for April. I just really want a cool dog to go with the whole thing.
Lunch with Maphet was great. It's odd, being married, it's really like you're in a club or something. Suddenly it's like there are all these things that you now understand that were previously incommunicable to you by your married friends, and now are incommunicable to all your unmarried friends. Bizarre.
So today I'm off with Holton, Sean Macdowell, and Bud Lutz to have a joint good-bye lunch and engagement party. Sean is moving to St. Loius for seminary. Bud Lutz finally got off his ample posterior and proposed to Leslie.
Well, that's the state of the union. I think I have some things to say on politics later....I love the neo-cons...

Good ol Bud Lutz. That bastard finally did it. I'm just happy there's another batchalor party to go to.
