For the sake of posting alone...
I'm only posting because I've got some sick principle about never letting my blog go unposted for more than a day or two tops.
I'm currently working on my SIP. Its due 2nite at midnight. So far its going great. After final editing and all that, I'll probably put it up for download. 30 pages of technology and culture fun!
I love Diet Coke & Tab. They're my favorite non-alcholic beverages. I can't stand sugar drinks because after the immediate charge, the make me all tired and depressed.
You can probably determine how much time I've been spending on my computer by the number of empty TAB & Coke cans sitting around my desk. Right now there are 16, plus a full 12 pack of diet coke.
I've always wanted to be a badass lead singer, like the dude from James or Bono, and have an entire stadium of people just rockin' out. If I had to pick three songs to sing live it'd be "Ring the Bells" by James, "With or Without You" by U2, and "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns n' Roses.
These choices of course should not be taken to represent generally my musical tastes. I much more of an alt-country guy, you know, Wilco, Sonvolt, Ryan Adams, Robert Earl Keen, and Damien Jurado. I've also got a big British Invasion kick, early Stones, The Kinks, and Faces. But for some reason, none of them have megalomaniac frontman with actual good voices (not that Axle Rose has a good voice, but its dang dynamic).
I'm back to work.

Some random comments:
1. I just started watching the Wilco documentary "I Am Trying to Break Your Heart." Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy is basically addicted to Diet Coke and cigarettes. He is my hero.
2. While Tweedy, Jay Farrar, Jurado and them boys are all sweet, sensitive fellows, Ryan Adams is one megalomanical SOB. But his soundtrack kicks fuckin' ass.

at this monent my desk at home contains exactly 12 soft drink cans... at most any given time, on the right side are x cans with their contents having been consumed or otherwise removed... on the left you will find -x+12 full and unopened cans in their original carton... at the time the contents of a can on the left is fully consumed, the can is placed on the right side of the desk amongst the other empties... when the contents of the 12th can is consumed, or otherwise removed, all the empty cans and carton are disposed of properly resulting in the left and right hand sides of the desk being clear for the cycle to begin again... sometimes i use the brief period that no cans are on my desk to do some light dusting... these interval periods rarely last more than several hours at the longest... more typically their duration is in the neighborhood of 3 to 4 hours...
however at times no cans be found on my desk for extended periods... this is usually when i'm expecting important visitors and the cans have been removed mid-cycle for the sake of appearance... or important visitors have recently departed and i have not had the chance to put any cans on the desk and resume the cycle...

Dude, you could say I am stoked on your site here. A forum for your random and mindful thoughts to be displayed for anyone tripping the hapless road that led us here.
Well, I have to say, was it Keikergaard or Dick Van Patten who said, "Party on Dudes!"
I know that was a mixed pop culture reference, but isn't that what makes it all the more meaningfully post-modern? Isn't that the best creativity gets these days? A mix of self-referential dialogues uniquely formed to create something altogether new, regardless that without it's context it would be altogether meaningless?
How about this... have you ever cracked the lip of a 4 foot wave or traveled around the world?
I like Wilco too.
