US POW's Video
I have two videos of the recent Al-Jazeera video of captured American soldiers being interviewed, and of those who passed away.
The first can be found here.
We should be praying for these people.
The second one, with the passed away soldiers, can be found here.
The Iraqi actually has a big smile on his face.

Hello
I wanted to see the videos for myself of the horrible things that have been done to our service people! I figured half the world had seen them..... Why not us? I pray for them everyday! I just want to see it for myself, to KNOW that it's REAL! It's so hard to believe that people can be like that without seeing it! Know what I mean?
Any way, just wanted to let you know it wouldn't work! The videos wouldn't come up.
Thanks for trying to let us Americans see the videos. Carolyn

Carolyn, I'm not sure why you couldn't see the videos. I think you need to make sure to have the most up to date version of media player, like Media Player 9 or something like that.
Try right clicking on the links and then saving them on your computer. It might be an issue of having the right codecs, but media player should take care of that.

Hi Josiah,
As mentioned by Jeanne, half the world have seen these video's...why not us. I truly beleive Americans need to see how treacherous this Iraqi regime is.
The first one was a short 35 second audio of the Iraqi interview.
I did finally manage to view the second one but only after I updated my Media Player, but it was not the entire video. Do you have the full video?
Thank you for sharing this with us.

I have the entire video, but its very large, about 30 megs. I will put it up for download, since I have received a number of requests for it. Its a very very intense video. There isn't any sounds, and about 6 minutes of it are fallen American troops.

The attempts of Rumsfeld, bush, the White House for that matter to hide these videos from the american public is just another lie to keep us from seeing exactly the carnage these "pussies" are sending our 18 and 19 year old kids to, while they go back to the relative security of their homes every night to eat their $2,000 dinners.
First of all, Rumsfeld is the biggest pussy I've ever seen, and he's a smart ass that doesn't have a clue about anything except bending over backwards in order to answer every question he's asked in the most smart ass way that he can. And bush is just a puppet controlled by his daddy's people.

Too many people in todays society are constantly worried about things that mean nothing. They skip the fact that they woke up this morning in their own bed, under their own roof, living their everyday life that they seem to make everyone believe is so hard. Only to complain that there is nothing on tv or in the fridge to eat that fits their cravings. Worried about their prozac or the price of gas that keeps them from buying that new 47" high definition TV which they cant live without. Maybe by showing the American people footage of the real price that war plays on our young and old hero's today. Covered in sunburn and blinded by blowing sand willing to give their own life for the freedom of this so called great nation. Paying the price so those of us who did not train and work so hard to keep this country safe, could wake up and finally realize how lucky we all are. How lucky that children who have only begun their lives are paying the dues of every citizen in the United States and around the world to make sure that you have a family to go home to after your so-called "miserable day" at work. Shunning these young soldiers in order to march about something that you dont even understand. Even though you may disagree with a decision that someone else has made, these young hero's deserve RESPECT. Whether you love this country or not!!!!!!!!

I have been a vocal opponent of this war from the start. Bush's all-over-the-map rationalizations/justifications for it have been one absurd leap of illogic after another. First it was Iraq's supposed links to Al-Qaeda. But the CIA has never been able to link Iraq with global terrorism of any kind, much less with Al-Qaeda. Then it was the old "Weapons-of-Mass-Destruction" mantra. But Bush would'nt even let the inspections be thoroughly performed, making me think he didn't really care what weapons Iraq has. Finally, we were told we had to go to war for humanitarian purposes, to help the Iraqi people who are oppressed by Hussein's tyrannical regime. But Where was all this concern for liberating Iraq ten or twelve years ago? Clearly, we are in this war for reasons other than those being put forth by the White House, and that alone compelled me to oppose it.
However, now that we're in this war for better or for worse, I feel it's important to bring it to conclusion, as the consequences of an early withdrawl without achieving the stated military and humanitarian goals would be unknowable, pervasive and probably disastrous. Therefore I find myself in the rather odd paradox of supporting a war that I'm against. It doesn't hurt to see images of Iraqi civilians cheering our troops either.
Thanks for providing this forum and for posting the videos; I think it's an indictment of the western media that the only way for Americans to get this information is through private web sites such as this. Keep up the good work!

I agree with ash. It's incomprehensible for me to understand the mentality of those who think their moidering is doing anyone any favors! Our men and women, those that represent our nation, are volunteering their lives for the sake of freedom...something we have taken for granted. How would it feel if you were risking your life for the sake of others, only to learn those that you are trying to protect are protesting your very cause? These young men and women chose to be in the military; the possibility of war is always there. I salute their bravery and dedication!!
If you are among the protestors that despise the idea of this war for the sake of casualties, I can only advise one thing...Stop bitching and start praying!

First of all, directed to Jennifer, I have three words pertaining to the "bitching" statement.... freedom of speech.
Second of all, directed to Jennifer, I am behind you 100%. People need to, whether they opposed the war or not, support their "fellow Americans" over in Iraq. Its a damn shame that there are so many people who are completely undermining our soldiers' sacrifices. Going to war isn't easy on them, their families, nor the rest of the US, but that's what has happened. We (being the rest of the American population) need to be behind them til the bitter end... We're all they've got, so to speak. So I say that all those anti-War gurus need to re-evaluate their actions.
Thanks for the soapbox, good luck to our Troops.

You would think that these idiotic wheatgrass eating individuals that call themselves Americans would take these horrible pictures into consideration and figure out why we are fighting. The Iraqi regime has done this to their own people for many years. Speaking on the behalf of military personnel I trained for this day and night. It was just a matter of time. Get over your inner dilemas. Not everyone is willing to sacrifice their lives for a better life for others.
Instead keep waving your anti-American banners and smoke your grass. Don't worry be happy. Others will volunteer so you can go about your bickering.

here is a part of most of the interviews of the POWs. Please pray for them!!!

Geez, many thanks to all of your for taking the time to post on my blog, its really unexpected, and really appreciated...
And onward: just because its "freedom of speech" doesn't mean you're not bitching (with all the negative conotations that come with the label). Yes, you have the right to say it, but like The Dude said to Walter in The Big Lebowski "no, your not wrong Walter, you're just an asshole."
But this doesn't mean I think you're actually being an asshole, it just means people can come across that way about things they believe very very deeply about. It bothers me that folks on the left (or those, who transcend the title and are self described anarchists or whatever), are just so vehemently spewing forth really hateful sounding things towards Bush, our military, and toward's whomever. It just doesn't score any points, it just sounds like spoiled pissed off kids. It especially sounds like this to a generation who has started out dirt poor, or fought in a war (ww2, korean, vietnam) for their country (whether it actually was for their country doesn't matter, they think it was), and then worked their way up to being sucessful (By whatever definition). All in all, it just means that many of the protestors just come off as punks, and whatever insights and good things they had to say are lost in all the yelling.

I have to comment in response to Rich. Please do not say you share your opinion on behalf of military personnel. I respect your right to your opinion but there are those of us who have been involved enough to know that the military is more politics than the idealistic flag waving, apple pie eating, hype that so much of America buys into. Don't get me wrong, patriotism is a wonderful thing, but I for one am tired of the government putting American troops in harms way to be an international police force. I do not lack empathy for the unfortunate people that do not have the freedoms we have here, but I do not feel our servicemen and women should have to die overseas in an attempt to grant them the same rights. I would glady give my life to protect your family or mine, but why should some kid's father die or someone's sister or son, to protect people in other nations? Just because my government says so? I hold to the ideal of having a government that serves the interests of it's citizens. A government that hears the voice of it's people. Prior to the order to begin this campaign, many of us were shouting out to Washington yet it fell on deaf ears. The UN security council voiced it's opposition to this war at this time and yet we proceeded. I feel this war was inevitable but should have come from a unified UN force. Just because we have the power does not give us the right to use it whenever we feel like. it. Doing so opens the door for other's to do so at their own discretion. I fear that we have done a great deal of damage to the stability of the world not just the middle east. What if Korea decides it could better govern another country and is willing to use nuclear power to achieve this? Do we go into Korea next? Will another country/extremist group decide to settle the Palestinian/Israeli conflict by using overwhelming force to aid one side or the other? There are reports that Castro is building a chemical weapons lab in Cuba. That's even closer to home, do we invaded Cuba and overthrow Castro? Where will it stop? While I may not support the current actions of our government I pray this will come to a conclusion in the near future so our troops are out of harms way and back home with their families where they can appreciate the rights that come with being an American. My Grandmother had a newspaper clipping from years ago in her kitchen I think fits the current events. "Don't meet trouble half way, Let it come the full distance. Something usually happens to it before it gets there." A non-wheatgrass eating American.

I don't think they're THAT bad, but if it was my son in that video I wouldn't want America gawking at him. My heart goes out to their familes, as well as the families of those that have relatives serving in the Armed Forces in Iraq, it's gonna get ugly before it's over I fear.

When do you plan on making the entire video available? Or can you email it to me? I've been following the war constantly. Probably too much since I've been having nightmares about Iraqis killing me in my home. I am behind our troops completely and even know a few soldiers fighting for us. I do however have many unanswered questions on the decisions of entering this war in the first place. I've been asking my dad, husband, and brother many questions that no one has all the answers to. If our government would share more "secrets" with us to begin with , maybe we would as common people be more supportive. I just hope we can accomplish what we went over there for with as few as possible casualties and move on to service our own people. I have alot of concerns about all the foreigners here and what they are capable of doing to us. Thanks for listening.

The entire video is available, its called "Full video" on the upper left on the mainpage of my blog under "US POW VIDEOS"

And a quick comment to Red, we're all just a generation or three from being "foreigners." I'm not worried about foreigners hurting us or the country, if I'm worried about anything is simply people who hate me and mine and desire to hurt us, and unfortunately, those people defy most stereotypes.

I saw the 2nd video but I can not see the 1st one.
I will pray for them everyday

i saw the video. The images affect you more than you exspect when you first see the dead troops. It's mostly the fact that they are part of the U.S.A and the Iraq's look happy for what they did. i Will pray for them
