Party like its 1999

Weddings cost alot of money. Really, an unbelievable amount of money. You'd think hey, what's a dress, some cake, and perhaps a little bit of wine gonna cost right? Oh no, there's just so much dang stuff that comes outta no-where that you have to pay for. Man, who'd have thought 9 boutinere's could cost so much?!?

All in all, its been a good faith-building thing for both of us. In particularly, we were slightly dissapointed that we were going to have to do the reception in the tiny fellowship hall of the church (a very beautiful one atop Lookout Mountain) we're getting married in.

Given all the people coming into town, given the fact its the day after we graduation so all of our friends will be there, plus given the fact that April and I both enjoy a rip-roaring good party, this was a bit depressing. But God provides.

So we're doing our reception here. Oddly, I can see the Casa from my house. Its beautiful. Its huge. Its in the country and right on the Tennesse River. Plus we get it all night (not that I plan on staying). God always, always provides.
