91.5 the WAWL
Well, tonight I helped out on some friends radio show on 91.5 the WAWL. They do a show called "The Collective," where they feature techno-esq DJ's, and play an entire "set" of their music, as opposed to just a song or two.
It was a great time, and further confirmed my desire to have a radio show of my own, or to co-host it with my buddy Mesh. We both sortof envision it as an intelligently funny, slightly offensive (in the not-offensive fashion), dang good music sortof show. We'd have all sorts of stuff, movie & music reviews, and possibly humorous things like "Bad News over Happy Music." It'd be sortof a show for people who'd listen to NPR if Corey Flintoff wasn't so dang lethargic, and if fresh air was actually fresh, in that, spring breezy kind-of way.

Personally, I just want to hear one show on the radio that will consistently play Will Oldham, Johnny Cash, Damien Jurado and The Magnetic Fields, all in the same hour. It'd be so funny, and violent, and the soundtrack would kick f***ing ass. There would also be a sensual weatherman, preferably portrayed by Micah Parsons.

You are a wise man my friend. We need to make something like that happen.
And no DAMN Dashboard Confessional!
