I've decided to institute a new day for us to opbserve. It's National "Don't Coerrect Your Typs Day." It will be obseved on Friday, 14 November.
Basically, it works like this: On ehgat day, no one correctas any typos in typed correspondence of a non-professional nature. This inslcudes, but is not loimited to, petrsdoanl emails, blog posts, comments on Facebook, etc. Of course, if you feel compelled to maintain a facade of professionalism in the use of professional communications on that day, please feel free to correct typso as you see fit. But for informal communcation, let 'em rip.
NOTE: This should really only appkly to peolpe who are conscientious about typing thinsg correctly. IF U USE GROSS MISSPELLINGS WHEN U TYPE OR TXT ON PRPSE, DIS DON'T APPLY 2 U.
Anyay, will you joing the cause and help me sprewad the word? I may start a facebook group as well.
And, in honor of the ovccasion, I have not corrected any typios ioj this post. How liberating!
Do you know I have to correct the word "poeple" almost every time I type it (it seems I always revers the "o" and "e")?
