You do not know how comforting your words are for me. I am Jared's aunt. I'm really not sure why I typed his name in the search field, but I'm sure glad I did! Everything you said about him is true (his beautiful smile, eyes, God sent body....) plus more! I am glad he had the honor of knowing you and you the same! He really had a lot of friends! We knew first off at his funeral. There were over 2,000 people there.
Again, thank you for your words and keep us (his family) in your prayers as his b-day is soon approaching (March 4).
Thank you,
Charlene

Thank you so much for remembering my son Jared. He was my life, when we lost him I thought I, We, could never go on. Seeing the friends that he had in the short 21 years he was here says alot about him. We always knew he was special, just didn't know how many others knew it too! Thank you for being a friend.

Charlene and Ray--

I'm so sorry for your loss, for all of our loss...Jared was a very special young man. I really only knew him for that brief year, but I know I will always remember him. I hope my words brought you comfort, because I wrote them to bring ME comfort, which is selfish, and they are only words...but I pray that you will find strength from them in this time. The memory of Jared is clear and warm and bright for me, and he will be missed very much.

Today is April 10th. I found out last night about Jared. We had some wonderful times together while we both went to Dalton college; then we lost touch. Probably not too many people know about our friendship, but he was the most awesome friend I could have for that short time. Even though I never knew he was gone, I always kept my eye open for him. I'd look for him at Dalton State, local Chattanooga hangouts, and even through the files at Chattanooga State to see if he was attending. I never knew. Until last night, and then I felt it rising up inside of me. Jared Bean was such a good person to me,and many others. I cannot even go on with this posting, because nothing more can be said. Jared Bean. what a fucking wonderful person.

Thanks for writing about Jared. I had a class with him at Dalton and I talked to him often and we hung out a few times. I just found out today that he was dead...I kind of lost touch with him. Anyway, thanks again.

I don't really have anything to add to your statements, or anything to tell that just about anyone that became aquainted with him already knows. I do know that he is the most pleasant person that i became aquainted with. I wasn't really near or dear to him as far as i know but i know that he was dear to me. It wasn't really that he was so gorgeous, it was that he was beautiful, outside, but mainly inside. He always,ALWAYS had something nice to say to anyone, and i never heard anything negative from him about anyone. I strive each day to be more like that myself. I can only hope that I can impact a fraction of the people that he did, in my life.
