Comments: Ronald Ray gun

No President can do everything right, and Mr. Reagan was no exception, but President Reagan is remembered so fondly by so many because he brought respect and honor back to America and being an American.

Between your psychology text books and VH1, it sounds like you've hit all of the important points. I sure hear a lot about how much money he spent too, but maybe it was necessary. Eh well. The news isn't stirring up the Chinese too much.

Would you rather money be spent or humans lives lost to end the cold war? Reagan Had the unique ability to tell the truth, something rare in a politician. He took full responsibility for the Iran contra affair as well as other missteps. He never had to debate the meaning of a word to worm his way out of things. He had integrity. He brought the country out of its deepest recession since the depression. The soviet Union left itself helpless spend more than they had on an arms race they could not win, and refused aid from " the capitalist America". Ronnie may have had some mistakes, which he wouyld have bee the first to admitt (just look to his the buck stopd with me speech). He did more than us gen Xer's can appreciate.

I always thought it strange that Reagan used "Born in the USA." It's a protest song, and the original version was very, very dark.
