Comments: last goodbye, bird

Is it me or does Bradshaw look a little like Ghandi in that picture?

in the song lyric top five: "but kiss me out of desire, babe, and not consolation."

Never before has a receipt for a beverage made me laugh.

I don't get it. Who is bird and why are we saying goodbye to him? Is the author using the short samuri sword? Or is one of his friends doing such? Or is his blog retiring?

i'm sorry for the way things are in china.

Posted by jonathan at April 21, 2004 07:10 AM

it's okay, jon. maybe one day over a few guinnesses we can share stories. this one was something of an abuse of the blog, maybe, since it will only mean anything to me and people who know the stories. back to regularly scheduled programming soon.

and, jonathan, thanks, but the difference between me and china is that i don't feel sorry for myself.

That's okay; I'm just glad to know this wasn't a nunc dimittis for the blog!
