I want to live simply. I want to serve heartily. I want to love without reservation.
I want to live in a house like this.

In present reality I'm working 2 jobs, struggling with the lawn, and trying to figure out what to do with a dead motorcycle. But I don't wanna run away, these are all things I need to do, need to love. So, as one of my bosses says, "Get on the Red Bull train and don't get off." Coffee. Stimulants. Loud music. Grab everything/life by the throat and hang on tight.
Posted by mike at July 18, 2006 4:31 PMI think we could all live with a lot less than we do. Our next house, if and when we move, is going to be smaller, I've already decided.
Posted by: Suzanne at July 18, 2006 8:38 PMi'm homeless in two weeks.
that little house is uber-appealing.
so is a visit. (but i won't share you with bebo.) when are we all going to get together???
bebo's going to be in CLT the day after my birthday!
oh, you said NOT with bebo! did you really mean that?
(aren't we supposed to do paris in the Spring?!)
i hear you, that house would be awesome, though a jet ski would be nice to get around with. I always thought it would be cool to live on the water and have a boat/jet ski be your mode of transporatation. That way when its hot like it is now you can just fall in water and cool off, if you try that on the road... it will just hurt.

Posted by: bob at July 22, 2006 12:14 AMI miss you.
Posted by: Krista at July 26, 2006 9:58 AMI hear you with the wanting to live simple and free of this dog eat dog world. This sort of thinking that I need to die with the most stuff in my house and I need to have gathered better crap then my neighbor... I own so much crap, some of it I bought most of it I just aquired. anyway all to say there is something magic about even thinking about living as a monk, simple yes very simple, where you'd work in the garden and eat the food from the garden... peace... b
Posted by: big bee at August 12, 2006 2:05 PMI have been in love with the tumbleweed tiny houses for so long. Some land out a little, with a number of them tucked into little niches for people to rent by bartering. Ever seen The Edukators?
