This crazy ride just won't stop. Tonight Jackson just said "ma-ma" very distinctly as one word. He has been saying forms of mama and dada for a few weeks, but dada still sounds more like a string of unintelligible consonants, as in da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da.

I have a friend whose little girl is all grown up now and a soldier in Afghanistan... but... when she was just a little bitty girl learning how to talk... she got her first word from her works-at-home dad... it was the S-word for poop... and Margaret was so appalled she wanted to tape the poor little thing's mouth shut... lol... it's kinda hard to encourage them to talk when you're trying to train them not to say the first word they've learned...
