The web 'til now.

This video very nicely brings anyone up to speed on where we are with the web and what needs to be addressed as we move forward.

Cool, except for the part about "who will organize it?" I will. Yeah, right! Tags, groups, permissions, albums, folders, stars, and every other attempt at making me organize my data is just another waste of someone else's time. All of the info on the internet isn't going to get REALLY organized until people like me decide it's worth it, or more likely, websites do it for us. Why do I have to drag pictures onto a clumsy map in Flickr when it should already know where I am? Isn't there an easier way to organize my data than with tags and albums, once on my computer and then again for every different website I use? Eh, give it 2 more years. This rant brought to you by Dale.

Saw this the other day and was going to put it up on 2hicks.

Pretty damn cool and something I wish we could spend time talking about in the Ed.D. program. It would be a great elective class: Leadership and Learning 2.0.
