Peter Pan

Isn't this bizarre?

A friend from work sent it to me.

The Roe's suckered us into a late night of Settlers again. *We really love to play* I won the first round and Lang won the second. We should probably let them win every now and then so that they will still want to play with us. There dog is so great. I love Percy. I want a dog.

Robo cop

I am a bad ass!!!

Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?

I saw Dare Devil yesterday with special request from Isaac Wardell. It was quite possibly the worst movie, I had ever seen. Who gave money for that movie to be made? But just like Ben Affleck said "I am not the bad guy", shall be the modo of Robocop.

TGIF

Office space lingo is so weird. The most popular topic's in my office is the weather, what's for lunch, and how many days until friday. I find all of these topics pretty boring. I would much rather have a meaninful conversation with one of the attorney's or secretaries about their childhood or how they feel about their marriage. Is this how most offices are? The contrast of conversations in a law firm and working in a restaurant couldn't be more different. I always have such a hard time changing gears from my day job at the firm and working one night a week at the restaurant. When I walk into Lucciano's I don't have to ask what is going on in anyone's life. I know just by being there. At times this has been overwhelming and even frustrating, but I prefer that over meaningless conversations about what the special's for lunch are at Steamboat sandwich shop. I have made break through's with a few folks. And I am very excited about this. There is only one woman (that I know of) that hates me. I have been having bad dreams about her three times a week. Anyway, Can anyone out there relate to this?

In other news... Our house buisness is moving right along. We are supposed to close sometime at the end of September. Lang and I have a lot of paper work to do... More later.

My Guy Ty

I got to talk to Ty and Jess last night. Collectively they are some of Lang and my closest friends. As many of you know, they are expecting a little Willison in February. Some of you may have heard a rumor that they are moving back to Chattavegas. Well folks, the rumor is true. The Willison's are coming home!! They plan on being back at the beginning of next summer. So, now we just need to get the Hancock's & Gosey's back home...

Alive and Well

Hello out there, to the few folks who might read my blog. I apologize for my absence. I don't have any good reasons for not blogging, just some lame excuses.

Important update as follows: Yes, the rumor is true. Lang and I have signed a contract on a house and we hope to close on September 15th. The house is on St Elmo Avenue, right next to the Dodson's pink house, two doors down from St Elmo Presbyterian Church. It is a little 1,500 sq foot yellow house with 3 bedrooms. We won't be moving in for quite some time because there is a lot of work to be done. Our contractor, Ethan Collier, is super great and he is working with our plans. Lang, Meg, and I are going to be doing most of the demolition which includes ALL of the ceielings and two walls. We are relocating the kitchen and bathroom. Lang has big and fun plans which include a Japanese style bathroom. I said no to the Squattie Potty idea but we will have an interesting shower/bathtub area that you are going to have to ask Lang about because I don't know how to explain it. I am working on plans for the kitchen. This is a very exciting and very scary step for the Martin household. We will be having various work days in the future and I will keep ya'll posted...

We finally completed the wedding marathon summer.
