I'm going to the stars

First stop: Saturn.

"Moving Into My Van" by Jewel

Joy. Pure Joy. I am
What I always wanted
to grow up and be
Things are becoming
more of a dream with
each waking day-
The heavy brows of Daily Life
are becoming encrusted
with glitter and the shaking finger
of consequence is
beginning to giggle
Grumpy old me
have wings
Bums sport halos
and everyday dullness
has begun to breathe
as I remember the
incredible lightness
of living.

It is easy to wrestle with self-doubt. I sidestep.
Having faith is the battle against dullness,
against Daily Life. But Life is what you make of it.
I have faith in myself
to become what I've always wanted,
to live the dreams I have dreamed
That I will not always be lonely.
I believe in God, I believe we are here.
We Are Here.
Your words are written magick, be careful
the words you spin today will affect your future.
I prayed that everything will turn out for the best
for the both of us.
I prayed that he will see and do what is good for him
not be blinded by temporary desire
something that will surely fade with the kiss of fire.
I can not will this flame upon the innocent.
I can, but I will not.
Decide your fate, and accept my decision, my prince.
It stands.

And the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon, Little boy blue and the man 'n the moon. 'when you comin' home? ' 'son, I don't know when. we'll get together then. You know we'll have a good time then.

I shall leapfrog over you,
I shall laugh and shake my finger,
until turning it provocatively inward.
When the time has come
I will succumb.
The vertigo until then
I keep a smile on my face
and a light heart to shine
If you ever need me,
you'll know the words,
but perseverence is the key.
Not to you monsieur prince, not to you.
This is to the wanderers
I have set my feet on my path to dreams
but not alone shall I walk
for He is always with me.

Wake me up from my misery I’d do it for you, would you do it for me

A time of trials has come
I grow weary and wonder of my place.
Where is the tenuous line
where empty pursuit begins?

I may not be much to look at now,
oh no,
but don't you underestimate the woman I will be
That would be your mistake.
But it is definately not mine.
You'd better get ready world,
I'm coming.

The old moon laughed and he sang a song as they rocked in the wooden shoe. And the wind that sped them all night long ruffled the waves of dew. Now the little stars are the herring fish that live in that beautiful sea; "Cast your nets wherever you wish never afeared are we!" So cried the stars to the fishermen three - Winkin' Blinkin' and Nod.
So all night long their nets they threw to the stars in the twinkling foam. Then downward came the wooden shoe bringing the fishermen home. Twas all so pretty a sail it seemed as if it could not be. And some folks say twas a dream they dreamed of sailing that misty sea. But I shall name you the fishermen three - Winkin' Blinkin' and Nod.

And what choice of seas shall I sail?
They are calling me
the luxury of wind and water
speaking to my dreams
and whispers in my soul.
I have been blessed.
Fate has smiled upon this life.
