I learned a lesson in recieving critiques and suggestions about my work this week. It was a hard one for me to choke down, considering im so damn prideful about my work. But, definately turned out better than it could have.
Mountainscapes on 20-foot canvases to be tackled this weekend...

chasing waterfalls...

The picture is of Benton Falls on Chilhowee Mountain in the Smoky Mountain National Forest.
Take Hwy 60 from Cleveland on out towards the Ocoee. Take the next road past the ranger station into the Chilhowee camp grounds (will be on your left) and just continue up the mountain until you reach the campgrounds. Can't really miss it... walk on the small trail beside the lake, go up the stairs, over and down the big hill take a right over the bridge over a stream, continue on to your left and dont stop goin until you hear the water. About a 30-45 min walk out to the falls. Suggest going after a good rain.
