While it's terribly revealing of how "liberals" view "conservative" Christianity (which supposedly stands in for traditional Faith), it is horribly funny at the same time. Is this the Alpha course? Or is it "Forty Days to the Purpose Driven Life"? I couldn't tell which.
My favorite vent?
Aren't you all entitled to your half-assed musings on the divine? You've thought about eternity for twenty-five minutes and think you've come to some interesting conclusions.
And I love the phrase "internet-assembled philosophy"!

Posted by: David Richards at October 18, 2006 09:55 PMObviously somebody trying to make fun of conservatives. And sure, somewhere there are loonies who live down to this Pythonish caricature. Somebody else should write a decent reversal of this but I've not seen one yet. You know, with an ordinary orthodox Christian coming across a vicar who obsessively tries to connect everything this person says with how great being gay is for example, and then chases him out of the church when he doesn't adopt the attitude the vicar's after.
Posted by: The young fogey at October 18, 2006 10:34 PMPerhaps it's perspective, but I thought it pretty will knocked at both sides. Hilarious!
