Please pray for Sofie, Delaina and Anna.
Last night Anna took the girls to the emergency room there in Oklahoma where she's visiting family. Sofie was having what turned out to be an asthma attack. She would get into such strong coughing fits that she would throw up. Her attack was brought on by exposure to Delaina's viral ear infection, which was also diagnosed in the ER.
Both girls are doing better with some medication, but needless to say it was a long, difficult and sleepless night for them all, and Anna has to find some pharmacy that's open on Sundays near there where she can pick up their medication.
Pray for rest, restoration of health and peace of mind and heart for them all (even me who must worry from a distance).
Also, I was absolutely heartbroken and sickened to learn that our Church building was broken into (the latest of several occurrences in the last year), and that our parish's relics were stolen (including relics of St. Benedict, my patron saint, St. Ambrose, St. Augustine and others). The collective gasp of the parish who had not learned the news yet was audible.
Pray for the restoration of the relics, of course, but pray devoutly for the conversion of the person(s) responsible.
Lord have mercy.
