You need to go check out this report from the National Study of Youth and Religion: Portraits of Protestant Teens: A Report on Teens in Major U. S. Denominations [via T-19], by Phil Schwadel and Christian Smith.
I have two thoughts:
1. I wonder how Orthodox youth compare?
2. The only church I have left for my children is the Orthodox Church; so ultimately #1 is idle curiosity.
I may be sending my children here to college. (Although one finds it hard to ignore one's beloved alma mater. Unfortunately, I fear that the well-meaning there may seek to "convert" any children I send. *sigh*)
